Sex Pistols: A People’s History

Released to celebrate the 50th anniversary year of Anarchy in the UK, Sex Pistols – A People’s History tells the story of the seminal punk band, written by the fans for the fans. The Sex Pistols have had a monumental impact on music and culture over the last 50 years, and this book shows that influence in the words of those who know them best – their fans. This book argues that punk’s not dead by showing the ongoing influence of the Sex Pistols. The book will include memories from punks who saw the Pistols in 1976 and 1977 to young punks who have only recently discovered the Sex Pistols. The Sex Pistols are the most influential band of the last 50 years, the aim of this book is to cover key events from the Pistols career, from the record releases, key gigs, break ups and reunions.
