Please note that overseas orders are normally shipped as Royal Mail International Economy and that items can take several weeks to arrive once shipped. In the case of countries other than the US and Ireland, this can be several months. International Economy is the cheapest shipping option and if you wish to receive an item sooner and are willing to pay extra for shipping, please email richard@spenwoodbooks.com.

Where an item is on ‘pre-order’, this means it is not currently in stock and you are placing an order in advance of it being available to ship.

Refunds & Returns

If you change your mind about a book you have purchased, we will provide you with a full refund if you ask for one within 30 days of placing your order. If the book has already been shipped to you and you then change your mind, we will refund your order less the cost of shipping.

We may ask you to return the book to us in order to obtain a refund. We may offer only a partial or no refund where a book is not returned to us in a saleable condition.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. We endeavour to do this within 72 days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your book to 1 Totnes Road, Manchester, M21 8XF, United Kingdom.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless we agree otherwise beforehand. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
